Pat has been an artist since she was old enough to hold a pencil in her hand.  Her first art paper was the butcher paper her mom and dad brought home from the butcher shop. 
During her school years, Sioux City Art Center scholarships got her into classes. 

Pat took art correspondence courses and received a degree in graphic design to further improve her artistic skills.  She worked in the art field for thirty years, first as a highway sign artist,  and then as a graphic designer.  Pat's painting ability is very versatile, but her first love is painting portraits.
