About Siouxland Artists, Inc.

Siouxland Artists, Inc. meets the second Tuesday of every month (Except march and December) at 5:30 p.m. at the Sioux City At Center Annex/Studio (west of the Sioux City Art Center at 3rd and Pierce Streets).

The business meeting usually lasts about an hour after which we have a presentation by an artist from the Siouxland area, including our own members. many times this is a hands-on demonstration.

We also offer voluntary show and tell from the group at each meeting, which is a good way for us to keep us with what we are all working on.

We have two regular events each year:
In March we host a local artist juried competition for our members, bringing in a judge from the community art world.

In early December we host a 2-day Holiday Show, inviting the public to enjoy a festive time of viewing our artwork for sale, refreshments and meeting the artists, refreshments and meeting the artists, which often includes watching work.

Siouxland Artists, Inc. work is displayed at Pickerman's (shopping mall at 18th & Hamilton Sts.) and St. Lukes Hospital on 27th & Pierec Sts., as well as many local yearly shows.
